It’s our pleasure to show off Sandy and Jason’s wedding on our blog today! Besides working with such a fun bride and groom, the supporting cast was so awesome! The weather was great to boot! The day started off (not too early) with the getting ready photos on both sides. Gina was with the ladies at the Pan Pacific Hotel, Vancouver. After the final makeup and hair touches, it was time for Sandy and Jason’s first look… a moment in the wedding that ranks in our top 5 of our wedding day moments that’s for sure! That’s because it’s away from the hustle and bustle of the day and it’s just a moment between the couple. Any couple will tell you that it’s a surreal moment!
After the first look, it was time for the wedding party creative and portrait photo shoot at UBC. While we were out on the shoot, the lovely ladies at Imagine That Events and award-winning florist team from the Flower Factory arrive at Cecil Green to decorate, while DJ 151 gets the tunes ready for the day.
We arrived back at Cecil Green for a very touching ceremony and immediately after, the traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony. A few more formal photos and then it was time for dinner and partying! DJ 151 threw down with the tunes while Butter Photobooth entertained the guests with memorable keepsakes to take home! Of course, just before the partying started, there were many sweet moments including the speeches from the groomsment, bridesmaids and Jason’s father. And what wedding isn’t complete without the bride and groom shoe game right?
Such a fun wedding to be a part of! A huge congratulations to the lovely bride and groom!
